Even though our tuned antenna height is only 2-inches tall, the actual performance will outperform many larger untuned whip antennas.

This listing is for brand one new UHF Stubby antenna that is custom fine-tuned by hand with lab grade equipment to specifically cover only the
462 to 468 MHz
frequency range with an excellent VSWR of 1.3:1 or better for true high performance communications range.
Due to the much improved VSWR our antenna will reduce the current draw on the portable radio battery during transmit for a longer battery run time.
The tuning of the antenna also helps the receiver reject unwanted signals outside of the GMRS band for clearer GMRS signals.  We include a
90 day
limited warranty against any defects in materials or workmanship.

The BTECH GMRS-V1 portable radio shown in the photo is shown for reference only and is not included.  Our custom tuned UHF antennas have greatly improved communications for all business, consumer, commercial, fire, GMRS 462-468 MHz, government, industrial, public safety, police, and rescue radio users who operate in the shared UHF 406 to 512 MHz
radio band.
Our
BT462
antenna is only
2.0 inches
tall with a final height tolerance of plus or minus 0.125 of an inch as measured from the bottom of the weather skirt to the top cap of the antenna. The antenna covering is made of black flexible PVC and has a bottom weather skirt to protect the SMA male RF connection on the radio housing. We silver solder all reworked internal antenna connections.
The bottom of the antenna is ID color coded with a
Blue

dot.
The retuning of the antenna achieves a minimum signal gain of up to
+3 dB
that will effectively double your transmit and receive signal power due to the very low VSWR and excellent 50 ohm impedance match as compared to any untuned antenna.
Our retuning also allows for a much smaller antenna height without any loss of performance by eliminating all of the unused open space inside the antenna covering.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify what specific UHF frequencies or UHF frequency range is needed.
A UHF antenna will definitely not work at all in the Vhf or 700/800 MHz radio bands.
Any buyer abuse, fraud, tampering, or illegal activity will not be tolerated and eBay will be notified of the situation.

Please note that ALL USPS mailings can possibly be delayed due to the Pandemic. USPS mail delivery is most definitely not the same as it was before the pandemic started.
Per USPS their staffing is greatly reduced in many areas across the country due to the pandemic which is causing some long unpredictable delays. Most packages have arrived in a timely manner to our customers; HOWEVER, some 1st class packages can take 2-3 weeks to be delivered.
Priority mail does tend to get to you faster; HOWEVER, it too can take an extra few days to receive your package than is expected.
If your package is not delivered in a timely manner per USPS we have to wait until after the expected delivery date of your package to 1st complete an online Help Request form before we can start a Missing Mail Search Request. If after 7 business days from when we submit the Help Request Form your package still has not arrived, we can then submit the Missing Mail Search Request.
You need to be patient with your package delivery time frame.
We have done our job when we ship out your order now it is up to USPS to do their job in a timely manner to deliver your package.
With USPS First Class mail, be aware that shipping times can vary greatly with this economy shipping service on a good day and especially during national emergencies, severe weather or Holiday periods. If you need a faster delivery date please choose USPS Priority or USPS Express mail. We have 3 shipping options listed on all of our eBay listings; however, for some reason eBay does not always display the options. We were told it is a glitch in eBay’s system. They are working on it.
With USPS Priority mail and USPS Express mail, your order will ship out the same day only if your order is received prior to 2:00 PM Central time zone. Purchases that require customization or special tuning may require up to 24 hours of additional time to prepare prior to the expedited shipping.
We offer combined shipment discounts to save you money for all purchase made at the same time.
Purchase as many items as you want at the same time and we will combine them in one cost effective shipment for you.
Don’t worry if an immediate PayPal payment is required; we will issue you a refund via PayPal for any excess shipping costs you may have incurred after we combine all of your items into one shipment.

RETURN POLICY:
Within
60 days
of the auction close if; you are not satisfied with the item, you changed your mind, have buyer’s remorse, or made a mistake, you may return the item in the same condition as when it was purchased for a refund.
A restocking fee of
20%
will be applied for all refunds.
We will refund the full item price paid less the original shipping costs, and the restocking fee. Any missing items will be deducted from the refund at the current manufacture suggested retail prices.
Within
90 days
of the auction close if you feel that your item is defective, you may return the item under our warranty conditions as listed.
Buyer is responsible for the total cost to ship the item back to rcbi with shipment tracking. All returned auction items must include all of the accessories, must be in all of the original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was sold. If you are returning your item because we made a mistake on your order, we will refund your return shipping costs.
Any returned items that are used, warranty seals opened, or in an unsellable condition will not be accepted for a refund or replacement.

Also any malfunctions or damage caused by failing to follow directions will not be covered.
Warranty is for the original purchaser only and cannot be reassigned.
The warranty date starts on the auction close date and any repaired or replacement items issued under warranty will be covered only for the original warranty period.
The returned item will be inspected and retested for all specifications.
If the item is found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion. The item will be returned to you at no cost.
Any returned item found not to be defective and in good condition, will be shipped back to the buyer after we receive a payment from the buyer for all return shipment costs. Our return shipping will include shipping insurance and tracking.
